Transflex 20 is an alternative to stop transformer gasket lid oil leaks, where welding cannot be used (tap changer/transformer interface).
Whilst welding requires shutting down a transformer to stop gasket oil leaks, applying Transflex 20 will save time and money by a simple application.
Common locations/causes of tranformer oil leaks
• Leak due to oil penetration through the bolts and threaded connections
• Flange gasket failures of top cover/bottom cover of transformer lids
• Bushing leak through the base mounting flanges
• Leak through drain plug / on-line tap changer ( OLTC )/level dial gauge
• Leak through weld seams and radiator fins
• Failure of gaskets on flapper and butterfly valves controlling the flow of oil between the
radiator and main oil tank
Poly-Cast 80 is a fast setting two pack solvent free polyurethane compound in black colour for electronic potting or casting of electrical components. Other colours are available on request.
This product forms a rigid compound with no VOC and very low odour.
Problem: Irreplaceable insulator bushes and other electrical components that may have become redundant, or when the Aerodev process or similar baking systems are used that can damage the H.T. conductors due to elevated temperatures.
Belt-Flex 80 is a black fast setting, cold curing, two pack solvent free polyurethane compound for the repairing of torn or damaged fastner joins on conveyor belts. Also available in white for Food Processing Industries
This product has no VOC, petroleum oil resistant and very low odour, which forms a semi-rigid compound providing excellent adhesion to rubber susbstrates.
Additional Applications of Use: Can be used to form irreplaceable rubber flanges and gaskets.
